They should have called it \"All Day Sickness\", because it usually lasts well beyond the morning hours.

My wife only had morning sickness once. There also have been no real cravings but her diet has changed in one way: No More super spicy foods. She could eat habeneros like they were candy and would make salsa that would light up the sky. My stomach can\'t handle that heat and for at least the last eight months I have gotten a nice break from eating TUMS by the handfull.

Wingnut, if you get tot he point where you need to hurry things along, spicy foods have been known to do the trick. That as well as sex and drinking castor oil

Don\'t forgot to take over the exceptional smelly tasks in life as well during this phase: taking out the garbage and changing the diaper champ are two prime examples. DON\'T subject your queasy wife to such hell. Don\'t even ask her if such things need to be done or if you could do it \"for her\", just DO IT!
Same goes for dinner. You probably need to step in a few more times than usual to relieve her of smelling the raw chicken. Basically, unless you like your dinner with an extra layer of vomit, step in!

The statistics shoes that more than half of all pregnant women experience morning sickness and usually it is accompanied with vomiting. And it is usually just a result of the increased hormones the woman's body. Once I've read the recommendation to overcome this problem: a woman should eat soda crackers 15 minutes before getting up in the morning. Not so bad=) doesn't it?

Check with the obstetrician on what to do. Also, if
your wife finds something that stays down, load up on it. My wife
couldn't keep anything down except pizza for the first 12 weeks. So we
    had a lot of pizza.

I think where you kneel down beside your bed every night and thank all that is holy
that you have a pair of testicles between your legs and not a set of
ovaries. Imagine, eating that tuna salad with the suspect mayonnaise
    every day for 12 weeks.

If your wife doesn't have it, that's ok too. There are tons of mothers
who get off barf-free and pop out healthy little buggers. So don't
worry if she feels perfectly fine.
