Noodad: noodad » Writing a Kick-Ass Birthing Plan

  • foodad · 3 years ago
We did not have a formal birth plan. I was to remain \"attentive\" for the entire time. If anything went awry, I was responsible for making decisions. My advice to you is to follow noodad\'s advice! It was very difficult to keep my mind focused, especially with my wife making every attempt at uh, \"sharing her agony\" with me.

Another piece of advice, do NOT eat in front of your wife in the delivery room... even if she insists you eat a balance bar. You may end up with it inserted someplace it does not belong.

First, you are scaring the crap out of me.
Second, my wife and I are expecting our first in September, thanks for the great advice!

Don\'t worry, the doctors and nurses aren\'t going to let you fail, a birthing plan is just a good way to make decisions ahead of time with your wife (while she has a level head)

    Good luck
