  • Thanks Noodad. I thought i was the only one. I strted thinking that maybe i wasn\'t ready to be a dad cuz I wasn\'t really interested in the daily progress calendar she bought.

Good advice on the wifey though.
  • I couldnt help but chortle when I read this. Not the least because of the witty dialogue, but also because its so true!
  • My wife is totally this way, she acts like I don\'t care! She wanted to buy a heart rate monitor the second we found out she was pregnant. I read that those things don\'t work and usually stress the mother out more because she can\'t find the heartbeat.
Here\'s what works... make a daily routine of robotically asking the following things, even if you don\'t care.
    1) How are you feeling? (BTW I don\'t give a crap)
    2) Have you felt any kicking yet? (Even though it\'s freaking impossible at 2 months)
    3) Have you eaten anything lately? What did you eat? How was it? (Seeming really concerned about what was in the soup she had for lunch helps the baby grow strong!)

Also, as often as you fill your gas tank, take a pic of your wife\'s belly.
  • Definitely going to remember the bit about taking the wife\'s picture as often as I fill the gas tank. That\'s good advice.
  • I am a wife, and mother to 4, don't be offended that I read this, but guys, all true. And I really started laughing when I read this. Really funny.
  • this is a cute site and a good idea, to bad i would ever get baby's father to read it, he lost his 1st son as a stillborn a couple years ago, about the time i had my daughter. now hes got this baby on the way and i feel bad for him, i really dont think he wants to hear about the baby at all except after its born healthy and in his hands. im goin slow cuz i dont know how to help him with it. i couldnt imagin lossing my lil girl at birth
  • OMG THIS IS SOOO TRUE- I THOUGHT I WAS READING A PIECE OF OUR HOUSEHOLD. ACTUALLY GAVE ME A GOOD LAUGH!

    AND IM THE WIFEY... :)
