I hope I'll never have to go through this and I hope your wife and baby are both OK. You are right, we can't control anything, as a truck accident attorney I've seen my share of dramas, they never seem to end. So I personally think some extra safety never harmed anybody.

Children do very well in minor car accidents and even moderate ones. Unborn children likewise do well in minor and even moderate accidents. The mother often suffers whiplash injury which means she has to tough it out, because a lot of things cannot be done such as X-rays, and some types of pain medication.
