    Pacifiers do the job, but they lead to thumb/finger sucking or difficult weening. How many times have you seen a two or three year old sporting one?

    Alas, I have a nuk-turned-finger sucker. Beware! If you can get away without using one, you\'re better off. Some kids need that security though. Good luck and get them off of it ASAP!

    We had similar problem with our daughter\'s bottlefeeding. She had gas, reflux (the projecticle vomiting kind), you name it. Dr. Brown\\\'s didn\'t solve the reflux (it\'s not a miracle!) -- Prevacid did that -- but it definitely made a HUGE difference in the gas issue, and cut down the small-size spitup too. You might get sticker shock when you first see their price, but they\'re DEFINITELY worth the try if you have any of these issues.
