I find it so practical: teaching kids to learn at their own (first with parents help of course). This will allow them to be independent at a very young age. Who knows the swimming lesson is their ticket to survival when the inevitable happens. We can't tell the time, for all we know. Keep coming for more practical tips especially those that concerns survival.

Re: noodad » Tips for Dad-Holding-Kid Swimming Lessons

In several countries some parents are throwing their babies to swimming pools in order to teach their kids to swim at the early age.

Re: noodad » Tips for Dad-Holding-Kid Swimming Lessons

chhers

Re: noodad » Tips for Dad-Holding-Kid Swimming Lessons

Wish my dad had taught me how to swim when was a kid, too bad he is too busy with his work at that time, Oh I miss my dad so much

Re: noodad » Tips for Dad-Holding-Kid Swimming Lessons

great

Re: noodad » Tips for Dad-Holding-Kid Swimming Lessons

Pretty sure your kid won\'t be beat up if you teach them how to swim....hell it may even save their life or someone else\'s

The shiny shoes and bow tie though.......that\'s another story

Re: noodad » Tips for Dad-Holding-Kid Swimming Lessons

...try reading more than one article you glutinous turd.

Noodad readers are real men. They either already know how to throw a football, or don\'t give a rat\'s ass about football and are busy teaching their kids how to pwn at Halo.

Have fun with your bow ties.

Re: noodad » Tips for Dad-Holding-Kid Swimming Lessons

Hey \"Not Buying It\",

thanks for actually coming to a site that someone referred you to. Right away, that is something most guys would not do. Sorry to disappoint you with an informative article on taking your kids to swimming lessons.

The reality is if you are looking for a place to teach people how to shine shoes, throw a football, cheat at poker, or tie a bowtie you are definitely not in the right place.

The guys we want on this site are the ones that pay to have their shoes shined, know how to pwn at poker the real way (with sound strategy and pure pwnage), and would never ever wear a Poindexter bowtie. Teaching how to throw a football is something you should already know how to do and thus do not require our help to teach your kid.

Again, sorry Noodad.com did not live up to your expectations but quite frankly, we don\'t need your kind here.

Re: noodad » Tips for Dad-Holding-Kid Swimming Lessons

Sorry, someone pointed me to this site, but this site only paves the way for parenting such that kids of the readers/writers are the kids who WILL be beaten upon. Grow a pair guys; get your head out of Parents magazine -- let your wives do that. Teach them how to shine their shoes, throw a football, cheat at poker and tie a bowtie.

Are we as a culture really this emasculated? And how about some original thoughts? Sorry, this is all too weak.
