So to recap, it's not that you won't sleep, it's that you won't sleep on your terms, any longer.

Cheers!

Re: noodad » The Top 10 Myths of Fatherhood Debunked

It is only when you empty the diaper pail a week later that you need to be careful. Individually these bombs can be handled. When 30 or so of these join each other in a Diaper Champ, it forms of force more powerful than the Death Star but you need not worry about individual changings.

Thanks and Regards

Re: noodad » The Top 10 Myths of Fatherhood Debunked

there isno room for car seats and boosters for everyone. Thanks a lot. Here's one more myth from me: "Men don't want children as much as women do" I think everyone have heard this at least once in his life. And what about this : "Mums are naturally better at caring for children"? Let's debunk all this stuff!

Re: noodad » The Top 10 Myths of Fatherhood Debunked

This is awesome, I am totally impressed, you really got these things right! keep posting like this!

Donna

Re: noodad » The Top 10 Myths of Fatherhood Debunked

I especially agree with 5 and 10. When son #1 was born 5 years ago, I dug in my heels on the minivan thing and got an SUV. Everything was fine until son #2 arrived, and son #1 started having playdates... no room for car seats and boosters for everyone. Meanwhile, all of our friends had taken the Sienna/Odyssey leap. It was right around that time that... y'know... those minivans started looking pretty awesome. And the first time you hook up the video game to the DVD system through the aux jack, your son will look at you in amazement, as if you had just invented fire.

Re: noodad » The Top 10 Myths of Fatherhood Debunked

Thanks for a) this site and b) putting a few of my fears at ease a little bit.

Unfortunately, #10 seems like a definite possibility if our pre-pregnancy sex life is any indicator (once every 3-4 months or so, but that\'s an entirely different story), but who knows?

Thanks!

Re: noodad » The Top 10 Myths of Fatherhood Debunked

It was really helpful~! Good to know that I can still sneak in some video game time. However I will have to negotiate with my wife to get more hours to play Metal Gear Solid 4. But first I will have to convince her that the PS3 is worth buying... Damn SONY!!
