I remember these, had one.  Had to say, it really didn't make much sense.  Made more sense to throw out the garbage everyday.  You ended up spending even more money because you had to buy the refills.  I'm sure that it was a good idea for some.  For me, it wasn't.   I took it to some consignment shop... You make your deposit and it slides up the chute and disappears. Well actually it just flips down into the bag.
