Noodad: noodad » Get Rid of Football Hating Kids Once and For All

Another thing: if your kid likes imaginative play, get them a team jersey and a little foam football. I set up some of those cube footrest things in my living room and had my kid running through the \'defenders\'; culminating in a vault into the couch for a touchdown. I also took a cushion off the couch and let him slam into me like a lineman. I would do these things during the week to get him all geared up for the big game on Sunday.
I do the special food thing for key Red Sox games: season opener, home opener, any day games that fall in the middle of the week, and, of course, all Yankees games. Hot dogs, peanuts, and Cracker Jack.

Thanks for the tips! Being a Red Wings fan and my son due 2-3 weeks before preseaon (we found out we were inducing either 8/24 or 9/4 (I\'m stoked :zzz )), I can start quick. Since wife and I met at a local hockey game she wasn\'t surprised when I went out ang got Wings onesies. We do the food on big games, always serving wings(duh) and cold brews. The inlaws are evn already trying to influence on the diamond and gridiron with outfits from their respective cities. So I think I can look forward to my son and I can enjoying many a weekend in front of the games.

My month and a half old has already been undergoing the ingraining of football into his wee little mind. Jesse James\\\' room is done completely in university of Tennessee football. The mobile on his crib has little blue tick hound puppies wearing UT jerseys hanging from it. Not only that, but also it plays rocky top!!! I just hope the NCAA doesn\\\'t strip us of our beloved Volunteer footbal before he is old enough to appreciate it.
