  With my daughter we decided to have the surprise. We had the green nursery, the yellow baby clothes and 2 sets of names. I wouldn\'t change it for the world. The moment I declared to my wife that we had a girl was one of my most memorable.
  
  For my second kid we decided to find out and that too was very rewarding. (it was a boy)and it was nice being able to refer to the baby by his name.

  If you go into the ultrasound and they immediately say \"do you want to know the sex?\" then it\'s a boy. It means they saw the twig and berries immediately. If it\'s a girl, they have to make sure it\'s not hiding.

  I never thought of it that way, but I suppose you\'re right. LOL
  My wife and I were never asked if we wanted to know. At our first and only ultrasound, the nurse referred to it as a \"he,\" so unless we were deaf, the decision was made for us.

  I\'m a defininate Sex finder outer, It made it so much more real. Now I read him Superman Comics instead of Madeline which is way more fun for me ;)

  We decided to find out I mean we were having enough trouble with on name let alone trying to figure out names for boys and Girls. Like Wahoodad, I\'m glad I found out now it\'s more like I\'m talking to my baby boy instead of some funky moving lump. I\'m sure I\'d be happy with the suprise, but I think I\'m gonna get enought of those during the next few years. Now if you\'ll excuse me I\'m going to go replace my wifes \"Sex in the City\" DVD\'s with Bologna....

  Hey hi...i was read your comment i had ultrasound 22 week but they said i was girl but they not sure 100%so what can we do?

  There\'s not much you can do. Unless you\'re scheduled for another ultrasound, there won\'t be another chance for the technician to look between the legs. I think it is common for them to say they aren\'t 100% sure, especially when it is a girl. We have two boys, and both times we got a clear view. You\'ll just have to go with your gut instinct as to whether the tech\'s \"not 100% sure\" comment was to cover his/her butt, or if it he/she really couldn\'t tell for sure.
